   Blind Ghost Tour    Blind Ghost Walk   Ghost Walk for the visually impaired   ghost tours for the visually impaired are great for fun, rehabilitation, training, private parties, group tours and more

all groups associated are non profit, not for profit and would benefit tremendously from any donations of money, cars, investment interest programs, computer equipment and peripherals, braille books and antique medical equipment for display purposes in museum.

Tours for the Blind and low vision are usually held on the 2nd or last Saturday of each month with the exception of October & December

Tours are usually at 8pm & 9pm cost is generally $10  per person before discounts  & group rates

What can one expect on 
  a tour?


  • Easy drop of of tour participants in front of museum
  • A 10 minute tour of the Mount Dora Museum
  • A 5 minute interactive theatrical venue telling the history of the Bizarre Dr. Nutter.
  • 10 minute puppet show about the ghost walk.
  • Post Tour Q & A with tour guides and  handling of Marionettes. 
  • Access to Dr. Nutters closet to encounter the "Mount Dora Banshee" one of Dr. Nutters most infamous experiments gone awry.
  • The tour continues by exiting the museum and partaking on the 45 minute walking ghost walk thru the streets and back alleys of Old Mount Dora.
  • Access back into the museum for Q & A, Lavatory facilities usage, and one on one interaction with members of the volunteer cast.
  • Guide dogs and service animals allowed.
  • Sighted guides provided by the Mount Dora Lions Club Leo Club and New Vision for Independence

Drop off and parking
Drop off from cars and buses is easily done by accessing Royellou Lane from 5th Avenue and pulling up to the front door of the museum. Parking is not available in Royellou Lane so after drop off one must seek parking in the downtown area on in a municipal lot.



Hear the bizarre accounts of Dr. Nutter...

 Mr & Mrs Edwin C. Nutter  C. 1909 latest known photo taken after their return to the Coal Mine regions of Pennsylvania to escape arrest by the Mount Dora Constable. Dr Nutters Grandson, Raspail  is allegedly continuing the family legacy and is a sought after individual and has been seen outside the old women's hospital.
